The SNJ CoC is currently accepting applications for new and renewal projects seeking Continuum of Care funding. Applicants seeking renewal funding must ensure they have a current Continuum of Care project that is set to expire in 2024. New project applications may be submitted for FY2023 CoC Bonus, Domestic Violence Bonus and reallocated funds to assist households experiencing homelessness regain stability in permanent housing.
In addition to renewal funding, an estimated $320,000 will be available for Bonus Funding and $640,000 will be available for Domestic Violence Bonus funding. New Project proposals may request funding for the following types of activities:
New CoC Bonus Projects
Permanent Supportive Housing
Rapid Rehousing
Joint Transitional Housing and Rapid Rehousing
Coordinated Entry
Dedicated Homeless Management Information System (HMIS)
DV Bonus Activities (projects must dedicate 100% of services to survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking as defined in category 4 of the HUD CoC definition of homelessness:
Rapid Rehousing
Joint Transitional Housing and Rapid Rehousing
Coordinated Entry
Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, units of state or local government and public housing agencies. This includes first time applicants, agencies who have not previously received CoC funding, and faith-based agencies.

Applications must be submitted no later than 4:00pm on Friday, July 21, 2023. If your agency cannot submit the application through SM Apply for any reason, please reach out to Katelyn Ravensbergen at kravensbergen@monarchhousing.org as soon as possible.
