About the event
The Homeless Network Planning Committee (HNPC) serves as Camden County’s Comprehensive Emergency Assistance System (CEAS) Committee. It brings together service providers, advocates, and people with lived experience to create and carry out a coordinated plan aimed at reducing homelessness and supporting self-sufficiency across Camden County and the City of Camden. The committee operates under the guidelines of the federal HEARTH Act, which outlines how communities should organize their homelessness response systems.
Since 2013, the HNPC has been part of the larger Southern New Jersey Continuum of Care (SNJCoC), a regional network that includes Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, and Gloucester counties. Together, this continuum conducts regional planning and applies to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for funding through the annual HUD NOFA process to support homelessness programs and services.
