Coordinated Assessment Case Conferencing

The committee serves as the working group of provider agencies participating in the SNJCoC’s Coordinated Assessment process. Agencies with housing vouchers, available housing opportunities, or clients in need of housing such as emergency shelters are encouraged to attend, and those funded through SNJCoC HUD vouchers are required to participate. Meeting every other week, the committee reviews prioritization lists and matches eligible consumers with available housing openings.

A separate Coordinated Assessment Leadership Committee addresses issues that cannot be resolved in the larger group, such as grievances, staff concerns, or cases requiring decisions outside normal procedures. This leadership group also acts as a liaison to the SNJCoC Executive Board, bringing forward issues and recommendations for updates to Coordinated Assessment policies and procedures.
