About the event

Camden County CIACC (Children’s Inter-Agency Coordinating Council) is a county-based planning and advisory group made up of government representatives, community members, and private agencies. Its role is to advise Camden County and the New Jersey Department of Children and Families’ Division of Children’s System of Care (CSOC) on the needs of children, youth, and young adults with serious emotional, behavioral, developmental, or substance use challenges.

What the CIACC does:

  • Advises the state on creating and maintaining a responsive, accessible, and coordinated System of Care.

  • Strengthens collaboration among behavioral health, child welfare, education, juvenile justice, substance use, disability, and other service partners.

  • Conducts community assessments to identify service gaps and inform resource development.

  • Participates in quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts within the System of Care.
